Odin Candle
The Norse god of war and death, he awaits those fallen in combat in Valhalla. Odin is the one-eyed All-Father who rules Asgard from his silver throne where he sees all. He desires to gain wisdom and knowledge from all things hidden from him, often taking on disguises. Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory) are a pair of ravens that fly all over the world, bringing information to Odin. He sacrificed his eye in the well of Mimir, speared himself, then hung himself for 9 days and 9 nights in Yggdrasil in order to learn the secrets of the runes. He is also a healer, associated with the Nine Herbs Charm and seidr magic.
Odin’s candle is richly scented with smokey oud, and a flicker of amber and leather. Topped with mugwort and chamomile, which are both healing plants utilized in the Nine Herbs Charm healing spell (sources vary).
